CIMI at Cherry Cove provides a unique, exciting program that's the perfect way to enhance any student's education!
The program focuses on experiential science. Utilizing hands-on labs and equipment, expert instructors and the beautiful natural land and sea environments of Catalina Island, we strive to increase science literacym to stimulate minds, and most importantly, to create excitement about science.
Labs and field activities include snorkeling, fish, rays and sharks, invertebrates, marine mammals, plankton, algae, kayaking, island ecology, astronomy hike, evening camp fire and night snorkel.
The Cherry Cove campus includes a private cove, tents, cots with mattresses, dining hall, science labs, great snorkeling, a dive locker and recreation area.
