The Campus  Fox Landing is located four miles from the city of Avalon on the leeward side of Catalina Island, directly adjacent to Long Point. Built as a YMCA camp, the facility's ideal location, protected cove and large beach make it a wonderful site for exploring the ocean and studying marine science!
While at Fox, students sleep in comfortable cabins and eat in modern dining facilities. Well-equipped labs and aquariums provide fantastic locations for teaching and learning, and serve as the perfect compliment to the learning students do in the field while snorkeling and kayaking. The underwater environments of the bay and Long Point are home to an abundance of marine life and offer some of the best snorkeling on the island.
All in all, Fox Landing's combination of attributes make it an amazing backdrop for an educational camping adventure!
