Course 171: Nature Expression
Want to discover and stretch your hidden creative talents? Design your own T-shirt, paint your favorite sea creature, and learn to do something creative with your free time besides watch TV! Always a favorite with Sea Campers, Nature Expression gives you the chance to learn new skills, meet new friends and enjoy seeing your ideas turn into masterpieces.

Course 174: Painting
This class focuses on the interpretation of landscapes, plants and animals through watercolor and acrylic paints. There will be an introduction to light, shading and basic techniques, as well as a review of the similarities and differences between the two media. Students will be using skills gained in class to create individual paintings.

Course 175: Nature Sketching
Have you ever said, "Oh, I can't draw"? Did you ever wonder how artists make objects look real? Artists use techniques or "tricks" to enrich their drawing. In this course, you'll use the great outdoors as your subject as you learn techniques used by professional illustrators. Using media such as pastels, colored pencils, and pen and ink, you will develop your own unique style of sketching.

Course 176: Jewelry Design and Creation
This class will expand your creative horizons while you ornament yourself or your friend. Although this is primarily a beading class, other media will be explored. Hang out with some great people and let the creative process flow.

Course 178: Nature Photography
There are many spectacular subjects to be found on Catalina Island. Try to capture them on film in this class. Course will cover landscape, macro, plant, and animal photography. Take home your own Santa Catalina Island nature photo collection!
