Course 134: Catalina Green Team
Since the arrival of European settlers on Santa Catalina Island, many of the island's native plants species have been eradicated. In this class you'll team up with the Catalina Island Conservancy to help revegetate the island with native plant species and help clean up shorelines.
Travel to remote parts of the island and learn native plant culture from the experts. Visit places that tourists never get to see and assist scientists in helping to restore and beautify Catalina Island while giving yourself a heaping dose of karma.
